Story
So as most of you will likely now know, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis back in 2019. I lost feeling from the waist down, being barely able to stand up let alone walk. After all the amazing encouragement and donations, I walked 10km across London a few months after the original diagnosis. I then went on to do a 20km walk the year after that, and did a final 3rd walk where I walked 80km throughout the year, and then finished with another 20km walk to round it to 100km.
The sense of satisfaction and accomplishment after that was amazing. All the support both Jess and I recieved was incredible.
As I spent last year volunteering at the event, this year I am again wanting to push myself to complete the walk again, however this time, I will be participating in 2 separate events, the MS Walk Birmingham AND the MS Walk London.
On Saturday the 1st June 2024, Jess and I will be completing a 10km walk around Birmingham, and following this on the 14th September, we will be again participating in the 20km walk around London, all in aid of raising funds and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis on behalf of the MS Society.
We are extremely grateful for any support or donations. Your contribution will go a long way in helping those affected by this condition. Let's come together to make a difference!
