Story

On Friday 9th June myself and some fabulous friends have set ourselves a challenge, and that is to run 80 miles in 36 Hours. We will start our running at 7am and we will be running every hour ,2 and 3 miles around Scarborough town and villages. In total we shall achieve 80 miles as we have to end our mileage on a 0 ( Look out for us and give us a wave and a shout ) We have named our challenge

The Zero Challenge

Why The Zero Challenge ??????????? 50 60 70 80

This is because 2023 is a special year for 4 of us who are taking part , we have a 0 on the end of our ages, and so in order to mark our birthdays we have also decided to nominate and run for the charity ALZHIEMER’S

As many of us know all too well, Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of Dementia and some of us who are taking part in this challenge have first hand experience of how it effects family in so many ways ,it’s so cruel it robs you of sharing so much with your loved ones, family and friends.

We would be so very grateful and appreciate your help in helping us to raise as much as we possibly can for this very worthy cause.

You can also give by going to our Just Giving page and leave us a message if you would like to .

Thank you for taking the time to read our challenge page.
