A haematology nurse is taking part in 2 races at present to raise money to support ward 30/ haematology day ward.

Wirral 10k in October (13/10/24) also Liverpool Half marathon in March 2025 ( 23/3/25).

Zara Delamere, aged 37, who works as a deputy ward sister in haematology/ palliative ward, has worked on ward 30 for nearly 17 years and seen how ward 30 touches the lives of those who are treated , relatives and also staff that work there.

Zara has done many charity fundraising but this is close to her heart and feels very passionate about the care patients and families receive on the ward, she wants to help raise money to improve patients journeys and to continue to give great care and treatment to cancer patients.
