Raising money for the people of East Africa

Looks like Zaffys at it again ive been training for this event since 2nd of May 2023 to now , ive covered a massive 800 miles and around 41000 in total feet of elevation riding since started my training over the course of 23 different rides. Its been tough.

Ive lost a stone in the process and feel good. For those who know me I will Smesh this ride in record time.

A Number of brothers shall inshaAllah on Sunday 2nd July 2023 be undertaking a *100km charity bike ride* from Preston to the Forest of Bowland in aid of the people of East Africa.

*Every 36 seconds one person is dying of hunger in drought-stricken East Africa.*

*Over 22 million people in the region are at risk of starvation.*

Wells are dry, millions of livestock are dead and peoples livelihoods have vanished.

An Angel Welfare Eduction Trust delegation that included many brothers from Preston, Bolton and Dewsbury visited some of the drought stricken areas earlier in the year and saw the desperate state of the people. The funds raised shall be utilised on the ground to provide water and food aid. I have seen the direct work on ground level of what this charity is presenting .
