The Rushmoor Muslim Association (RMA) has been diligently working towards establishing a community centre in the Rushmoor Borough for some time now.
We are thrilled to announce the purchase of RMA’s Community Centre building, 67 Victoria Road, Aldershot. We need to raise £90,000 to reach total target of £370,000.
Rushmoor Muslim Association (RMA) Charity Cycle Ride which is approx. 15 miles distance and will take approx. 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. 100% of the money that you pledge go to RMA registered charity (No. 1197669). The purpose of this sponsored bike ride is to raise funds to support the purchase of RMA’s Community Centre building, 67 Victoria Road, Aldershot.
• What is the location of the bike ride:
Start location will be outside 67 Victoria Road, Aldershot, GU111SJ.
Finish location will be Shah Jahan Mosque, Oriental Road, Woking GU22 7BA.
What is the overall schedule for the event:
o 9.00 to 9.45 – Pre-registration. All participants will be given onboarding package consisting of RMA fundraising Bike Ride T-Shirt, water bottle and energy bar should they require.
o 9.40 to 9.50 – Presentation by the professional support team, introduction who is who, Safety guide, who to ask for help, do’s & don’ts during the bike ride.
o 9.50 – 10.00 – Group Photos session
o 10.00 – Bike ride start
o 12.00 – Approx. finish time, Arrive at Shah Jahan Mosque.
o 12.00 – 12.15 – Group Photos session at Finish
o 12.00 – 13.00 Refresh and prepare for Zohar salah.
o 13.00 – 13.15 Zohar Salah in Hall 1
o 13.20 – 14.30 Refreshment in Hall 3

• What is this event:
This is a sponsored bike ride to support the fundraising for RMA’s community centre building purchase. RMA are encouraging each rider to raise approx. £500 through this sponsored bike ride event.
• What is the location of the bike ride:

• What is the overall schedule for the event:

• Who is organising the bike ride: The bike ride is organised by RMA charity volunteers together with professional bike riding club. RMA contacts Zafar Malik-Ramzan (Member RMA Exec Committee Mobile 07767428793).
• Who should participate in this bike ride: Anyone who is physically able to ride a bike above the age of 18 years age. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by their parent/guardian by way of either joint participate in the bike ride. No person under 16 years old will be permitted to ride on their own (without parent/guardian).
• Will the organisers provide bikes on the day for the riders: No, each rider must bring their own bike, together with sufficient bike breakdown kit such as air bike pump and spare tube or puncture repair kit suitable / compatible for their own bike.
• What support will there be for the riders during the bike ride. There organisers will supply:
o 4 professional riders.
o The support team will make up 2 groups of riders. 1st group will be expert group consisting of people who regularly bike rides long distances. The 2nd group will be the novis group, people who are beginner bike riders.
o Each group will have 2 professional riders, one at the front, and one at the back guiding them though the journey.
o 2 support vehicles, 1 x van kitted with bike breakdown facilities and refreshments such as water and energy bars. Second vehicle will be a car kitted similarly as the van.
• Will there be any refreshments at the end of the bike ride. Yes, there will be lunch refreshments served for all riders and volunteers ONLY.
• Who is expected to take part in this event.
o RMA are expecting various professional riders and novis beginner riders to join from various communities from surrounding areas who will meet us at the start point in Aldershot.
o RMA is expecting the Aldershot & Farnborough community to take part.
o Approx. 5 to 10 riders are expected to join from Slough & Maidenhead community. This will include 4 members of the professional support team. They will meet us at Aldershot start point.
o Approx. 5 to 10 riders are expected to join from Basingstoke and Camberley community.
o Approx. 10 to 15 riders are expected to join from Woking community.
