Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Great Ormond Street Hospital is somewhere you hope you'll never end up, but if do, there is no place you'd rather be.
Patients being treated today could be FirstPort customers of the future, and it's amazing to be able to give every child the chance to achieve their potential.
Our partnership could make a lasting impression on the FirstPort team, customers and stakeholders.
Most importantly, you will make a real different to patients' lives and leave a lifelong mark in the hearts of children and their families who benefit from your generosity when going through the most difficult time of their lives.
My 2 two grand daughters, now aged 11 and 8, have been going to GOSH for 6 years for testing and monitoring for Brugada Syndrome which is a rare hereditary heart condition which I have, and have passed down to their mum. They will stay with GOSH until they are 18, so they both have a few years to go yet.
I am so happy to be able to give something back to such an amazing hospital for all the care they have given my family.

Build it, Beat it!
Childhood and cancer. Two words that should never go together. But children’s cancer rates are going up, not down.
A child doesn’t have to die from cancer for it to take their life. It can take away their childhood and dreams for the future.
Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) cares for children with the hardest-to-treat cancers. We’re already pushing the boundaries. Pioneering childhood cancer research is underway to find the most effective treatments and cures, which give hope to children and their families.
But these advances have outstripped GOSH’s current cancer care facilities. Some of our outpatient cancer clinics are currently in buildings from the 1930s.
The hospital needs a new home to deliver breakthrough therapies which will help more children beat cancer. A place designed with the needs of children at its heart. A place that will support every aspect of care.
That home will be the new world-class Children’s Cancer Centre at GOSH.
Help us build it and save more children’s lives.
If you can help build it, you can help beat it.
Thank you for your support.
