Specsavers Greater London RST 2 million Step Challenge
Fundraising for Crisis
Fundraising for Crisis
I recently spent a day working at the Crisis Wharehouse in Canning Town as well as supporting for 2 days during Christmas week helping out at the eye clinics at the Crisis Centres in Pimlico and Stratford. All 3 days were incredibly rewarding on a personal level, but a real eye-opener in terms of bringing home the challenge that is out there. The Crisis Charity provides an amazing level of support for the homeless, but they need ongoing support and funds.
The Greater London Specsavers retail support team want to raise money for Crisis - at a time when they most need it. We are aiming to each take at least 50,000 steps a week through January - stepping into the New Year with a bang. Probably doesn't sound like much, but when your're in a car or meetings all day every day, it will mean early morning or late evening walks at a time of year that is cold, wet and dark! Hopefully we will take over 2 million steps between us.
Please do sponsor us if you can!
