Story
That time has come again when I jump on my bike and head off to cycle approximately 200 miles to raise much needed funds to support young people in and leaving the care system. This year the ride will begin in Chelmsford, pass Ipswich and head up the coastline of the North Sea, to eventually finish in Norwich. To add to the challenge I will start from Leigh on Sea. As an added challenge I walked approximately 200 miles during May.
Any donation you're able to make will go to national charity Become and help to fund their vital work supporting children in care and young care leavers to understand their rights and entitlements so they can get the help they need, develop their skills, access education, and overcome challenges they face. As a solicitor who represents these young people, I see first hand how disadvantaged they are in society. They need all the help that they can get to avoid ending up in the criminal justice system. I am grateful for anything you can spare to help this worthwhile charity.
Thank you!
