Story

Dynamic, intelligent, caring, driven, self-aware, compassionate are just a few of the adjectives that describe Yuly Van Brakel, creator, founder and owner of the very trendy and popular Yuly360 athletic wear company in Galleria Mall.

After a deep dive into Yuly’s life, outlook and perspective, it’s no wonder that nothing can stand in the way of this powerful force of nature.

A native of Venezuela, this beautiful and very talented woman strived for greatness from her early beginnings. Looking at Yuly you might imagine that things come easily to her, but that is far from the truth. She started her MBA in Venezuela, met the love of her life on a trip to the US, went back to Venezuela and was whisked back to America by her future husband. She then completed her MBA in the States. They became pregnant with their son, Justin, and upon his birth found out he had serious health issues which forced Yuly to provide constant caregiving from home. As their family expanded and grew up, her children, Justin and Julia, were encouraged to participate in the family business with Justin assisting with inventory and Julia modeling new fashions for Yuly360.

Never the one to let adversity stand in her way, Yuly found and fell in love with running to clear her head and keep her strong for her family. During Covid, Yuly decided to launch a brand of luxury athletic wear, Yuly360, paying strict attention to every impeccable detail. The couple invested a large sum into launching the online company but quickly realized that the brand is a sensory experience and needed to be experienced in person. That was the turning point when Yuly realized she had to create a retail brick and mortar space that enlightened, encouraged and educated her customers to create their best life. Yuly has personally designed athletic wear for customers undergoing cancer treatment and Parkinson’s Disease with limited mobility. Her mission is to help lighten the load of those who need help.

What started as a temporary store at Sawgrass Mills Mall turned into a beautiful shop artfully created by Yuly herself at Galleria Mall. This dynamo marketer is always searching for new opportunities and challenges and has a second Yuly360 scheduled to open at Coral Square Mall, and two additional locations already in the works.

The message of self- empowerment and love resonates in every single garment, decorating the walls of her tasteful shop, and within Yuly’s heart. She considers Yuly360 a shopping experience that is also a recharging station for the mind, body and soul.

Philanthropy is second nature to Yuly. She is a Chapter Member at the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, and supports numerous non-profits in South Florida like No More Tears to prevent Human Trafficking by hosting shopping parties at Yuly360 and donating a portion of all proceeds from the parties to her charity partners. Through personal experience the Van Brakel’s are dedicated to the Ronald McDonald House. According to Yuly: ‘If I have the opportunity and power to wake up each day, I have to make the commitment to help others.’.

Yuly Van Brakel embodies the Glam-A-THON™ spirit, and we welcome her as a 2024 GLAMMY AWARDS honoree!
