Kaleidoscope - lets make it happen!

Although the media often focuses on the politics of migration, they hardly ever focus on the people that are on the move, and their individual needs. Young people at the Calais border endure unimaginable hardship, struggling for survival in dire conditions. They face harsh weather, overcrowded makeshift camps, and constant uncertainty
We are a new, start-up NGO, aiming to create mobile, open-access spaces for young people aged 11 to 17. These spaces will provide safety and psychosocial support, as well as offering a chance to learn new skills and enjoy art, music, and sport – key parts of every young person’s life. Young people on the move in Calais and Dunkirk should not miss out on these experiences just because of their circumstances.
The mission of all our work, especially the spaces and sessions, is to empower and support young people's personal, social, emotional and educational development. In addition, we aim to build and develop local and external partnerships in order to best support the young people and the team.
We’re trying to raise enough funds to get started out in Northern France and start delivering our necessary service. Every little helps, and we are so thankful for everything you can do.
