Story
This July, we have an incredible group of 8 young people who are taking on the challenge of swimming the Channel to raise funds for Young Minds Matter. Young Minds Matter is a local Warwickshire and Coventry based charity that provides free mentoring to students aged 5-18 in local state primary and secondary schools. Their work is truly inspiring, as they help young minds navigate the challenges they face and provide them with the support they need.
In 2022, our Channel Swim team raised an incredible £15,000 and set a record for the second fastest relay Channel Swim since 2016! It was a remarkable achievement that showcased their determination and commitment. Now, two of our original swimmers, Brian McSharry, 19, and Hayden North, 18, are back to captain each of the teams. With your help, we're hoping to beat our 2022 target!
The other team members include Molly Bullock, 18, Theo Skirvin, 18, Ben Robotham, 17, Bridie Regan, 17, Niamh McIntyre, 16, and Lily Cobble, 16. These young people (all of them still just teenagers) will be swimming in a relay format in two teams of 4 each. Together, they are training tirelessly to prepare for this challenging feat. Their dedication is truly awe-inspiring.

We are so excited to follow their journey as they train, fundraise, and swim their hearts out for YMM! Their passion for this cause is contagious.
But they can't do it alone. They need your support. Please donate generously to help these wonderful young people as they embark on this incredible journey. Every contribution makes a difference in supporting Young Minds Matter's mission.
Join us in spreading the word about this amazing endeavor. Share their story with your friends and family. Together, we can make a real impact on the lives of young people in our community.
