Today’s the day I step up for my third 24 hour swim relay! Training at the lake hasn’t been as prolific this time because until last week it has still been cold! It’s 2.5 degrees colder than last year so getting ready to spend 3 x hour swimming through the night is going to be a proper challenge.

I’m following that with a 7km swim down in Devon, the Batham swoosh in July. I’ll be relying on Adrenalin and a dash of gumption to get me through.

I’m not doing it only because swimming keeps me fairly on the sane/ insane cusp but also to raise money for Level Water.
