Thank you for considering supporting Y OPAS during our annual campaign. Towards the beginning of each new year, the YMCA embarks on a pivotal fundraising effort to continue to serve and impact our community, where 100% of donations received gets utilized directly in helping those who need it most.

With your help, that is most often seen at the Y through providing financial assistance for summer camp, memberships, childcare, and program scholarships. As you may know, Y OPAS is heavily reliant on many incredible volunteers to strengthen our community and bring to life our mission of helping seniors to remain independent in their homes.

Because Y OPAS is free to the seniors we serve, donations received during the campaign will provide Y OPAS the funding needed to help recruit and retain the much needed volunteers at community events, and with benefits like gift cards, happy hours, and celebrations. Additionally, it will provide the seniors with the opportunity to build relationships and fight isolation by attending social activities like art or cooking classes, monthly potlucks, bus trips and more that can be seen on our Facebook page.

Since launching Y OPAS in Scottsdale this past July, volunteers in 2023 completed 53 appointments for 9 seniors, drove over 600 miles and donated over 100 hours collectively. We couldn't do it without your support and are asking you to consider donating of any amount to ensure Y OPAS is able to grow and change the lives of countless seniors in need in our community.
