Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent charity providing a lifesaving rapid response emergency service to 5 million people across the whole of Yorkshire.

To keep both of the air ambulance helicopters maintained and in the air, the charity needs to raise £19,000 every single day. This year YGC is on a mission to give all their efforts to help fund the service for a whole day.

Did you know that:

- Donating £26 funds those first two critical minutes that the YAA crews have to become active and airborne. These critical two minutes can save a life.

- £158 funds 12 minutes of flight time - the average flight time following a 999 call

- £264 is the cost of 20 minutes of flighting. This flight time can access 90% of the Yorkshire population

- The YAA are called out on average 4 times a day, with each mission costing an average of £4,750

YAA responded to more than 1,700 life-saving missions last year, in England's largest county- Yorkshire!
