The YMCA of South Palm Beach County is an important part of my life and I'm so proud to support its charitable mission. I can testify first-hand the impact of the Y in our community through the countless stories of those served. I know that every dollar I give stays local and 100% goes to the cause. ANY AMOUNT GIVEN HELPS SAVE A LIFE!

Every day, the Y changes lives through its powerful programs and services. It is important to me that children and families in need get opportunities to grow and thrive, whether it's through swim lessons, our summer camp, sports or having a safe place to study and play after school.

Our YMCA Drowning Prevention Program goes out into the Community of Palm Beach County to provide lifesaving swim lessons for at risk individuals (both adult and youth) and communities that would otherwise not be able to attend. Our focus is safety first, swim second while also ensuring to provide water safety topics such as:

Reach or Throw Don't go.

Always Swim Near a Lifeguard.

...and many other topics.

These swim lessons contain eight 30-minute group swim lessons for youth and 45-minute group swim lessons for adult.

$85- provides one individual a series of group swim lessons

$500- provides 6 individuals a series of group swim lessons

$1,200- provides 15 individuals a series of group swim lessons.

While we are out in the community providing swim lessons, we also pursue the safety of our individuals that have diverse abilities (special needs). Most families that have a member that is special needs have various costs that are crucial for helping their loved one (Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, etc). Taking all of those costs into consideration we strive to pursue funding to keep the costs minimal or at no cost.

The majority of our Adaptive Swim lessons are private lessons. Which contains eight 30-minute private lessons. We have strived to expand our program and those who are able to meet the criteria are able to participate in our small group lessons which are 3:1(2 with volunteer) ratio. These families are able to receive eight 45-minute group swim lessons.

$85- provides an individual with one series of group swim lessons.

$172- provides an individual with one series of swim lessons.

$1,200- provides private lessons for 7 individuals or 14 individuals with group swim lessons.
