Story
I have teamed up with a few colleagues (fellow lorry drivers) to take on a 6mile obstacle challenge in aid of EAA.
After having both my breasts removed and reconstructed last October as a preventive measure to cancer. A year later, I am now stronger than ever and wanting to challenge my new body!
Prior to surgery in 2022 I did a sponsored Skydive so although last minute, I’m excited to have a post surgery fundraiser to do.
I have no experience with this kind of event and not the best fitness so training starts now! Follow me on Strava to see my progress/dedication.
I would be grateful for any donations of support towards a life saving charity - we never know when our lives may depend on them!
East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is a 365-day-a-year helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk. We exist to save lives by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air to seriously ill or injured people in the region. We do not receive regular direct government funding and the £17 million we need to raise this year comes directly from charitable donations. We are only kept airborne thanks to our incredible supporters. Thank you.
