My name is Yasmin and I am raising money for the Brain Tumour Charity as I was diagnosed with a brain tumour just before my 18th Birthday. I’m now four years down the line, and have gone through 2 surgeries, a bit of radiotherapy and quite a lot of chemo too.

In February 2021, I ran 10k for the Brain Tumour charity; unfortunately I don’t think I will be able to run this coming February but will be supporting a brilliant team of budding athletes with a selection of dodgy knees and questionable outfits: Finn, Sam, Ros, James, Liv, Liza, Josh and of course my amazing mum. I will definitely run if I can, but will have to wait and see how I am doing on the day as I am about to start a new course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
