Story
السلام عليكم
On the 29th of July me and my sister in law will be trekking Mount Snowdon in hopes of raising money for Orphans in Palastine.
This is a cause that is very dear to my heart, since visiting Palastine. I have always wanted to help children, especially those who are in war stricken regions. Within recent years there has been a rapid growth of orphans worldwide and hopefully your donations will be able to make a difference, even in one child's life.
Losing a parent can mean that access to education, the protection of shelter, the sustenance of nutritious meals and the chance for a secure future all become an impossible dream. This is why the responsibility of care for the orphan falls on all of us.
“…the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise…”Hadith [Sahih al-Bukhari]
As you may know for decades now, that families in Palestine have been left unable to enjoy the most basic of human rights such as access to food, water and medical treatment. Around 2 million Palestinians struggle with food insecurity – in Gaza alone over 68% of people are living below the poverty line.
Airstrikes have destroyed homes, and hundreds of children are out on the streets battling for their lives each day.The children of Palestine are in great danger.
The money that will be raised will contribute to the child's healthcare, clothing, food, educational and schooling fees and even accommodation support.
We would greatly appreciate any donations. If you are unable to donate please feel free to share our page. May Allah reward you all abundantly for your donations, accept our efforts, and grant us forgiveness and guidance.
JazakAllah Khair
