I did this event last year and it was great fun and raised loads of money for a good cause. Last year I swam three of the 24 hours in a team of eight people, but this year I'm increasing the challenge and aiming to swim for six hours. Training has started but I have a long way to go. Any pennies you can contribute would be gratefully received.

We are all keen open water swimmers who have found friends, fun and joy through being in the water. We want to raise money so more people can have that fun and freedom. We are swimming in three teams, doing between 3 and 8 hours in the water each during the 24 hours, to raise money for this great cause.
