Story
It's Christmas. Let's do a bit of good.
Rather than a boring corporate Christmas card you can't wait to chuck in the bin, each year at Yarn I make a book that I send out to my clients, friends, and anyone else who'd like a copy.
This year, I've written a short story sprinkled with snapshots of a life well lived. It’s about family, about loss, about the things people leave behind — and, of course, it’s about Christmas. And while I do it because I love it, this year I'd like to do some good, too.
So if you've signed up for a copy, or you like my writing, or you'd just like to show your support for a good cause, please donate as much as you feel to the British Heart Foundation. The charity's work has touched the lives of many of the people I love — and I'm sure it has yours, too. A worthy cause indeed.
If you'd like a copy of the book, there's more on that here.
And if you want to know more about the charity, I've kept the blurb about BHF and their research below.
--
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps.
