Alhamdulilah in February 2023, with the Help of Allah (T) and a very generous and supportive community, Wythenshawe Muslim Association (WMA) was able to purchase a property which became the first-ever Masjid in Wythenshawe.

The Masjid was bought using Qardh Hasan (Interest-free loans) and cost an overall fee of £450k.

Alhamdulilah, since we moved in on Friday 24th February 2023, we have hosted prayers, classes and community events; within just a few months of it being open, the Masjid has steadily grown to become a central hub for the community.

To help achieve our £450k target, a group of dedicated walkers will be climbing Mount Snowdon on Sunday 6th August 2023.

Most of them have setup their own individual fundraising pages; however, for the people who do not know the walkers personally or do not have access to their pages, we have created this general page so that everyone is able to donate toward this great effort for the Masjid insha'Allah.

All donations are greatly appreciated and every penny will be a Sadaqah Jariyah for you insha'Allah.

Please keep Wythenshawe Masjid and its community in your du'as, especially the brave folks who will be tackling Mount Snowdon on Sunday 6th August insha'Allah!

Please note: Wythenshawe Masjid is administratively and financially connected to its 'Mother' organisation, Cheadle Masjid. As a registered charity, any funds donated will go through Cheadle Masjid, but will be allocated toward the Wythenshawe Masjid project inshallah.
