Story

DATE: 15/5/24

Wear Your Kit Day is a brand new initiative that encourages people to wear their favourite football kit, scarf or fancy dress to school, work, church or other settings.

The event is in aid of The Salvation Army to raise awareness and funds to help tackle homelessness.

Goals for Good is a brand new project from The Salvation Army uniting football to help end homelessness. More and more families and individuals are being dragged into rough sleeping, sofa surfing and unsafe emergency housing. We need you to join the movement and fight back. Whatever your team, whatever your kit or colours, whatever your position, however you watch, play, listen or chat about football, we're all in this together. It won’t be easy but this this is our chance to help end homelessness and put the game to bed. This is football united against homelessness. This is Goals for Good.
