The Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run takes place in October 2023 with over 100 Triumph motor cars crossing Britain to raise funds for the Huntington's Disease Association.

Story

Wayne Scott and Dave Burgess have shared a vehicle on a couple of rallies. Now though, they are about to embark on their toughest challenge yet as they drive the notoriously gruelling Round Britain Reliability Run, covering 2,000 miles in 48 hours non-stop to raise money for the Huntingtons Disease Foundation.

Furthermore, in doing so, we will recreate the event when the factory ran the first two RHD UK spec TR8s on the event in 1980.

We will be driving the 1st RHD TR8 MVP404V with Richard Connew and Brian Ridley-Jones driving the second car. So, a very unique event recreated again - 43 years on!

The original Works Triumph factory crew for our car from 1980 consisted of the Group Manufacturing Director Brian Fox and Transport Manager, Bob Train.
