This year there are building works underway at the Woodlarks camp site which provides amazing holiday breaks for kids, teens and young adults whose special needs mean they cannot just take a break like you or I might do. And that means that the amazing Christmas grotto will not be pen in 2023. However ...

Woodlarks Santa hopes to visit local schools and hospices looking after kids with special needs. And that will enable him to drop off a special present as he does each year.

In order to fund those gifts I am looking to raise £2,000.

I know that money is tight for many of us this year but there are always folks out there facing even greater challenges.

And so I am asking my readers and others if you might make even a small donation. We can do this with 400 fivers but I’d rather not be begging all the way up to Christmas so if you can be a bit more generous I’d be very grateful as would the amazing team at Woodlarks
