Story

The RNLI save lives - that's what they do.

In recent years, xenophobic nonsense has driven active campaigns to discourage people from supporting them. We're not the smartest Island nation in the world at times.

I'm taking part in a 10k run in the beautiful New Forest port town of Lymington, helping raise vital funds for the RNLI, allowing them to continue that lifesaving work.

Thank you for supporting me, and helping the RNLI save lives at sea.

10k is twice as far as I normally run. I've deliberately made sure this is going to hurt me to make sure those who donate get value for money - Lisa

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
