Join Us in Making a Difference
We are gearing up for our 13th expedition this September, embarking on a journey through the Norwegian Svalbard Archipelago with 11 courageous women. This partnership is dedicated to supporting Humanity Crew's vital work in delivering mental health interventions on the frontline of humanitarian disasters.
Humanity Crew is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 by Advocate Maria Jammal and Dr. Essam Daod, along with a team of dedicated professionals. Emerging from experiences providing urgent medical treatment and psychological first aid to Syrian refugees, our vision has expanded to create physical hubs of mental health skills and awareness for disaster-affected communities worldwide.
Impact:
Actions on the Ground: In the past year alone, Humanity Crew has engaged in 4 emergency actions:
● Turkey (lasting up to a year)
● Morocco (ongoing support)
● Hawaii
● Israel/Palestine
These actions impacted a total of 12,506 individuals, providing essential mental health and psychosocial support.
Duration and Outreach: Missions can last from several weeks to up to a year, depending on the nature and extent of the crisis. Each action on the ground reaches an average of 3,126 individuals, offering vital assistance in times of crisis.
Impact of Your Donation: Your support directly impacts our ability to respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies. With a fundraising goal of $25,000 USD, you enable us to have two mental health professionals on the ground for two months in an emergency. This level of support could reach approximately 800 affected individuals in urgent need of mental health support, providing them with essential care and assistance during their time of crisis.
How You Can Help: By donating to this campaign, you become a crucial part of our mission to provide timely and effective mental health interventions to those facing adversity. Your generosity ensures that we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities affected by humanitarian crises.
Thank you for your generosity and support. Together, we can build resilience and
foster well-being in the face of adversity
