Story
I wanted to share some exciting news—I will be participating in the Ford RideLondon 100 miles (!!!) event this May! This year, I decided to register independently and support a cause that is close to my community - Reading/Berkshire.
Prior’s Court, a remarkable charity, provides education and residential care for young people aged 5-25 with complex autism. Their commitment to making a difference has truly touched and amazed me. Specifically, they are currently fundraising to build a Performing Arts Centre that will transform the lives of these young individuals.
The arts provision at Prior’s Court offers a powerful means of communication for up to 80% of their young people who are pre-verbal. Through music, dance, and drama, they achieve things beyond imagination. From creating their own anthem for autism, “Let Me Shine,” to recording it at the historic Abbey Road Studios and hosting on-site music festivals, Prior’s Court provides once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.
However, their current performing arts space limits the number of young people involved and the scope of projects they can deliver. That’s why I am passionate about supporting their initiative to build a bespoke, on-site Performing Arts Centre. This facility will not only benefit the young people at Prior’s Court but also contribute to the wider community.

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to sharing updates on my ride and the impact we can make together.
