Run, swim, walk, cycle or canoe to remember those that crossed the Channel to start the liberation of Europe 80 years ago. Not only will we remember the fallen, but also the living who returned home with combat exhaustion and lived with PTSD.

Story

Thank you once again for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

13th May 2024

I will be walking from Fort William to Inverness on the Great Glen Way solo & unsupported to raise awareness of Mental Health & hopefully raise funds to help assist those affected. Who Dares Cares is a charity that supports our veterans & blue light services with an array of resources & professionals behind the scenes. PTSD is a debilitating condition that affects those that have experienced traumatic events in their life. I will be walking & wild camping in the wilderness of Scotland for our Veterans & Blue light services. I was a member of the military for 34 years & now currently ambulance service also an ambassador for Who Dares Cares. Please help me support our veterans & blue light services in any way you can. Thank you again. Willie Young
