Big Jump for Little Warrior William

Big Jump for Little Warrior William · 18 August 2023
When William was 16 days old he fell seriously unwell with Group B Streptococcus. William then spent the next 8 days on life support in intensive care fighting for his life. During this time, it was confirmed that Williams brain had been starved of oxygen and as a result, he endured severe brain damage. William is certified blind and is diagnosed as having global developmental delay. Due to this he requires regular physio, occupational therapy, and educational support.
In spite of Williams difficulties, he is a very happy, content and smiley little boy. His drive and determination has proved inspiring to many already and we are so proud of everything he has already accomplished.
Seeing William go through what he has, has made us appreciate how special he is and we will do whatever we can to give him to best life possible.
On the 18th August 2023 Williams Daddy and Great Uncle Paul will be jumping 15,000ft out of a plane to try and raise as much as possible for William!
As we learn more about William we realise that there are some amazing therapies, equipment and treatments that can support him, but unfortunately the majority of these come at a cost. This is our driving force in deciding to do the skydive to make sure William has access to such opportunities to better his future.
Thank you very much for your time and support with our fundraising journey. It truly means the world to us.
