Story

Hi my name is Will and I will be doing a cycle ride of roughly 1000 miles from Lands End to John O’Groats in September 2024.

The ride will begin at Lands End, Cornwall and conclude in John O’Groats, Scotland after a week of full cycling. Along the way I hope have various friends and family members taking part along side me to help keep motivation and moral high.

The reason for wanting to take part in the ride is to challenge myself since leaving the forces and what better way than to raise money for a charity close to my heart. I’m doing this ride in memory of my mum and brother who sadly passed away at the age of 52 and 16, when I was just a teenager.

St Luke’s is an independent charity providing specialist advice and support to people with progressive life-limiting illnesses in Plymouth, South West Devon and East Devon, I cannot express the fundamental work they do everyday.

Any donations no matter how big or small is appreciated but I completely understand not everyone is in the position to donate so a share of the just giving link would be just as valuable. The bigger the audience we can reach the better!

Thankyou so much for taking the time to read/ share my pledge. Now onto the training 👍🏼
