WHO? WILL LEFEBVE, lifetime involved in the magnificent racing industry, principally with RACEFORM, the PRESS ASSOCIATION & the TOTE.

WHAT? A round-Britain (England, Wales and Scotland) tour of all 59 racecourses on an actual race day, acknowledged and greeted on each visit by a personality/trainer/jockey or personal friend/acquaintance.

WHY? To mark my 80th birthday (14.12.45) in memorable fashion by raising funds to repay the “IJF” for their outstanding involvement in caring for my uncle, TIM HAMEY, winning jockey in both the CHELTENHAM GOLD CUP (1926) & GRAND NATIONAL (1932), in his twilight years.

WHEN? Commences at Fontwell Park on 23 February (STAR SPORTS National Spirit Hurdle Day) and concludes at York (20 August).

WHERE? All 59 current race courses (Flat, jumps & dual purpose tracks). [Includes 6 x “DOUBLE HEADERS”]
