I’m taking part in the Great North Run on the 8th September, raising money for a cause close to my family’s hearts. It’s been 5 years since our mum, Celia, lost her long battle with Huntingtons Disease - an incurable, neurodegenerative condition. During that time, we counted on invaluable support from HDA, who provided access to counsellors and specialist training to mum’s carers.

As well as running in memory of our mum, I’m hoping to raise some much needed funds to go towards supporting other families that have been affected by this terrible condition.
