2024 TCS London Marathon for PSPA
Campaign by PSPA (RCN England and Wales 1037087 / Scotland SC041199)
The London Marathon is perhaps the worlds most famous, and iconic running event. As part of #TeamPSPA you will be swept away in the extraordinary atmosphere, and revel in the feeling of triumph when you cross the finish line cheered on by thousands.

Story

I’m joining my dad, sister, my fiancée and her father in tackling the London Marathon this spring in aid of PSPA.

Any donation will go towards PSPA, the only UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD).

My Grandad lived with CBD in the final years of his life, with it greatly affecting his speech, amongst other things. His final years were during COVID, where most of the world was communicating via Zoom and video, which unfortunately was the time where his speech really deteriorated. Up until his diagnosis, I had never heard of PSP or CBD, so would like to contribute in some way by raising money for this cause and generally raising awareness for the condition.
