Story
After a decade long winning streak against cancer, last year my Mum, Jenny Gibson spent the last part of her life in the wonderful care of the staff and volunteers at Rowcroft Hospice in Torquay.
Whilst the hospice gets some funding from the NHS when they transfer patients to Rowcroft, the hospice is a charity and the vast majority of their funding comes from donations and fundraising events.
In honour of Mum, and to help support the care of future patients, on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August I will be cycling 145 miles (235km) from my home in Stroud, Gloucestershire to the hospice in Torquay.
Assuming (over optimistically) no wrong turns, this will be my route, overnighting somewhere around Taunton...
