Goodison Park Stadium Sleepout 2023 · 13 October 2023 ·

Everton in the Community is giving you the unique opportunity to spend the night braving the elements at Goodison Park to raise awareness of homelessness and funds for the charity’s Home is Where the Heart Is programme.

Story

I’m taking part in this year’s sleepout in the Park End stand at Goodison Park, with the aim of helping Everton in the Community to raise awareness and vital funds to combat homelessness.

It’s part of EitC’s Home Is Where The Heart Is programme, which supports young people across Merseyside who are homeless or on the verge of homelessness, through both a residential house and various outreach initiatives.

You can read more about the programme here: https://www.evertoninthecommunity.org/projects/support/home-is-where-the-heart-is/

At least 271,000 people are recorded as homeless in England, including 123,000 children.

With private rents and living costs continuing to soar, thousands of people are not just facing a winter of worry, they are at risk of losing the roof over their head.

Please help us raise vital funds to support people at the greatest risk of homelessness.

Thank you!
