Story
One in two of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Wessex Cancer Support is a charity which relies on donations to provide free and local support to anyone affected by cancer, away from hospital. Every person receives tailored support that best suits their needs. This ranges from counselling to transport which helps patients travelling from the Isle of Wight and Channel Islands get to their hospital appointments.
This time, our non-uniform day is devoted to raising money for Wessex Cancer Support. Every student who wishes to participate in the non-uniform day must take part in giving to charity; this is a day for us to good to others.
The minimum donation is £1 but each person can give as much as they would like to, especially if this is a cause they are particularly passionate about.
Donations are either on this JustGiving page at any point, or are in cash to their tutor on Fri 5th July.
