We care for children with shortened lives to support them and their families.

Story

Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice do a fabulous job supporting children and families that need it most but sadly it costs £5 million per year to run their facility.

Last year, we trialled a Colour Run for a small number of schools to raise money for this worthwhile charity and the children had so much fun taking part that we felt we could go bigger and better this year and offer the opportunity for ALL Rotherham schools to join in raising money while running through lots of powder paint!

Therefore we welcome the many KS2 children and Y9 girls to Rawmarsh Community School playing fields on Friday 17th May to run as far as they can (it's your choice!) and embrace the paint! We are grateful for your sponsorship for these runners.

Parents/Carers: Unfortunately we cannot have spectators at the event due to risk assessments but we will have our media team on hand to capture the day for you!

About the charity

At Bluebell Wood, we care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. We support hundreds of families, both in our hospice and in family homes. It costs around £6.5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. We receive 16% Statutory funding.
