The Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals Charity raises money to improve facilities, fund new equipment and provide additional services.

The John Le Vay Well-being and Cancer Support centre is based within Ipswich hospital.

Our specially trained team of volunteers and staff are able to help anyone affected by cancer to navigate their journey with help and support, improving their quality of life along the way.  When you take action, however small, to improve your wellbeing, it can help you feel more in control of what is happening to you and can help you in the longer term too.

Wheelie found tremendous support from various groups and individuals who provided specialist care during her cancer treatment. Furthermore, rehabilitation is on going and this is a way of showing her appreciation.
