KPMG are proud to be raising vital funds for FareShare. Everything we do, from bake sales to cycles to quiz nights, every pound we raise, will turn surplus food into social change and strengthen communities across the UK

Story

In aid of our company national charity, myself and 6 of my colleagues are undertaking the West Highland Way, remaining self-sufficient along the way and with the hope of completing the fabled route in 5 days.

FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations. Together, we take good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and get it to nearly 8,000 frontline charities and community groups.

In 2024, the charity redistributed 56,000 tonnes of surplus food, served 8,000 local charities, and helped almost 1 million people, all while preventing greenhouse gases entering the atmosphere throughout the food waste process.

Team members: Henry Edwards, James Allan, James Dixon, Charlie McGregor, Archie Jamieson, Archie Jamieson and Joel Mooney
