CAN YOU HELP?
Today I had another relay up to Caithness with a Premature Common Seal pup found on Harris. He has been called Snoopy.
That’s two pups in two days and the Common Seal pupping season is only just getting started!!
I have spent 25 hours of the last 48 hours driving Seals to rehab and have covered about 700 miles.
Even as the Wester Ross Coordinator; I’m a volunteer… So my time I give for free to help these beautiful creatures, but fuel costs a lot of money and vet bills for these cuties cost even more… British Divers Marine Life Rescue spend tens of thousands of pounds on fuel and vet bills over pupping season.
Please help if you can… even if it’s just £1… We need all the help we can get to cover the costs of the common seal pupping season this year. Do you have an idea for a fundraiser that can help cover our costs to save as many common seal pups as possible?
You can contact us on info@bdmlr.org.uk and we can help!
Thank you! 💙
