We both work at Wentworth Court Nursing Home in Cheltenham where we are hosting a Magical May Day fundraiser on Monday 15 May to raise money for Bristol Children's Hospital's Grand Appeal.

Angela says:

"My grandson, Blake was diagnosed with leukemia in December 2022 and has been receiving treatment at Bristol Children's Hospital. He had a bad reaction to the chemotherapy and we nearly lost him but he's now doing better on a new treatment. I'd just like to give something back."

Laura says:

"Two of my children were born with cleft lip palates. My son Derry, who is nine months-old is having ongoing operations so I would like to give something back to Bristol Children's Hospital too."

We are both having our hair shaved off on the day, and there will be other fundraising activities including a raffle with great prizes and a cake sale.
