On September 30, 2023, I will be joining the MACC Fund in going "Over the EDGE" for Childhood Cancer and Sickle Cell Awareness Month!

I will be rappelling down the 147-ft tall, 10-story Wintrust Commercial Bank building in downtown, Milwaukee--all to raise money for childhood cancer and blood disorders research.

The MACC Fund is very near and dear to my heart! When my son, Michael, was treated for his Evan's Syndrome blood disorder, it was done in the outpatient MACC unit. He was also admitted several times to the 8th floor (the old hem/onc floor) at Children's hospital. His hematologist/oncologist was awesome! Even though he has aged out of Children's Hospital, I will always be thankful for everything those doctors and nurses did for him!! It's now time for me to give back to the incredible institution that helped us and I NEED YOUR HELP!

The MACC Fund's mission is to find a CURE for childhood cancer and blood disorders by providing funding for research. I am honored to support their mission by participating in the MACC Fund Goes Over the Edge event.
