I will be running the London marathon 2024 supporting my amazing goddaughter Margot to receive additional therapies in order to achieve as much independence as possible after she suffered a major brain bleed at just 20 months old.

She spent months in hospital, suffered a respiratory arrest, a cardiac arrest and 2 DVTs. Against all odds she survived but she had a massive stroke.

Margot is now 4 years old, she has had to relearn everything. Her brain injury has caused significant physical, learning and speech difficulties. Margot needs regular and intensive therapies that cannot be provided by the NHS.

I have never ran a marathon before and I am starting my training plan this new year with the aim of supporting our Amazing Margot.
