Wellington School's fundraiser for Friends of Frankie in partnership with SUDC UK.

Message from Sarah (Frankie’s mummy)
Frankie, our beautiful 3 year old son absolutely loved life, everything was exciting to him.
He was happy and healthy and we are so lucky to have known and loved him for 3 years and 5 months.
One Saturday in May 2019 Frankie was tucked up in bed with a story and a cuddle and checked on as usual.
The next day we woke to find that Frankie had passed away in his sleep.
There are families who never find out why their precious child passes away suddenly.
Friends of Frankie was created shortly after Frankie fell asleep and the money we raise helps SUDC with their mission of making these tragic deaths predictable and preventable through important research.
SUDC UK also support families who find themselves in this horrendous position, guiding them down this upsetting, confusing and unbelievable road.
I was and still am so determined that Frankie will have a legacy here on earth while he guides us from up above.
SUDC UK is a registered, national charity dedicated to raising awareness, funding research and supporting families affected by Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC).
SUDC is the sudden and unexpected death of a child aged 1-18 years where the cause of death remains unexplained after a thorough investigation. 40 children are affected every year in the UK, more than young child deaths due to traffic accidents, fires or drowning and comparable to 1-2 seemingly healthy children dying every fortnight. Thank you for your support.
