Weidmann has over 140 years of history supplying products and services to the transformer industry. As experts in the energy sector, we have produced many books, white papers, and studies over the years. For the first time, we have written a children’s book.

This book, called ‘The Transformer That Saved the Holidays’, is a charming tale about how ‘Grandpa Tree’ saved the day and was transformed in a most unusual way.

Weidmann is thrilled to have the opportunity to write and publish a children’s holiday book, which also delivers a valuable message about sustainability and the importance of electricity. More important, though, is the opportunity to raise money through book donations to help children living in poverty.

Our chosen charity is Children International, which helps children get the health care, education, life skills, training, and confidence they need to make a positive change in their lives. Your donations will help sponsor children who have grown up in poverty, discrimination, and isolation, with limited access to education and medical services.
