We raise funds for research into PCD to improve the health of patients with PCD.

Story

Weatherden is super excited to return for its second sponsored walk, this time in support of PCD Research as our Charity of the Year.

PCD Research, setup and chaired by our very own Dr Harriet Holme, is the first charity worldwide that funds scientific research for Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, with the aim of disease modification and ultimately a cure.

This is our second team fundraising event for charity after raising £2,250 for Kidney Research UK, selected by our friends at the UK BioIndustry Association as their Charity of the Year in 2022. We are very excited to be getting together to participate in the Thames Path Challenge on Sept 9, 2023 and hope to smash our target of £2,000.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and helping us support this amazing charity!
