We are Han United! <3

We're taking part in the Beat 1-2-5 Challenge between 7th and 13th October 2024 in memory of our brilliant Hannah, who we sadly lost in May this year. Whilst Hannah passed away due to sudden illness from sepsis, she battled with eating disorders for several years so supporting Beat is something which is important for us to do in tribute to her. Hannah is missed terribly, and positive difference to the world is part of how we want to channel those feelings of loss.

Our team is made up of Kirsty, Amy, Sophie, Nicky, Paul, Mike, Peter, Hollie, Katie, Vic, Morgan and Lu. We are all doing different activities over the week according to our interests and abilities. A number of us will be doing a 12.5 mile walk - some in Swansea and some in Hampshire. Sophie and Nicky will walk 12.5 miles around the cemetery where Hannah is buried. Peter is going to swim 125 lengths of the local swimming pool in Carcassonne whilst Mike plays 125 rounds of Song Pop, the music game Hannah introduced him to. Morgan's going to dust off his hula-hoop and do 25 minutes for five days over the week!
