After 5 years of trying to enter the London Marathon I am delighted to have been offered a place on behalf of BHF. You may or may not be aware but in 2018 I had to have 3 stents due to heart disease. Since then a few of my friends, you know who you are, have suffered from coronary heart disease and heart problems so it is an opportunity to raise money for the excellent work carried out by BHF. I also lost my father who suffered a heart attack and I shall be running for him.

With all this bad weather over the last 3 months I have been out every Sunday and midweek trudging through the rain and mud to do the very best I can to be able to complete the London Marathon.

£24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
