This retirement year I am running BOTH the London Landmarks Half Marathon AND the full London Marathon three weeks later for UHNM Charity in April.

I am raising money for skin cancer patients treated at the department where I have worked for over 20 years.

Having applied unsuccessfully for eleven years I finally won a place in the London Marathon ballot, against all the odds!

So there is no "need" for me to raise funds, I am just happy to be able to end my UHNM career with two great running events and have one final hurrah for the department and hospital I have supported since 2002.
