The Gaza Sunbirds are a para-cycling team, consisting of 20 athletes, based in the Gaza Strip. The team was founded in 2018 when Alaa al-Dali, an Olympic hopeful cyclist, was shot in the leg by an Israeli sniper. They are currently distributing aid.

Story

We are three friends bikepacking across Europe to raise money and awareness for Gaza Sunbirds - a Gaza-based charity that distributes essential aid to people in need.

Gaza Sunbirds is a Gaza based charity providing food and essentials such as sanitation and maternity products. They work to distribute aid already within Gaza to places that are most in need, where traditional aid often cannot.
